Here we go again! Three weeks after the UFC's explosive return to a live audience in Jacksonville they move West to the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The event sold out once again in minutes, and with the extra adrenaline rush for the fighters this will definitely be another night of fireworks! Headlining this event will be a battle for the vacant Lightweight title between veteran Charles Oliveira and UFC newcomer Michael Chandler. With UFC gold on the line which fighter will rise to the occasion and be crowned the new UFC Lightweight Champ? This seems like a pretty even match-up, so let's take a look at what Vegas has to say about it? MONEYLINE: Oliveira -130 Chandler +110 Oliveira has been in the UFC for over a decade and has fought twenty-seven times in the Octagon, so a title shot was inevitable for him. He is currently riding a eight fight win streak, finishing 7 of his last 8 opponents. The only fight that reached the judges scorecard was his last bout against Tony Ferguson where he dominated from start to finish and almost tore Ferguson's arm off with a nasty armbar. Charles is a very dangerous opponent for anyone willing to step into the cage with him, he may be best known for his stellar Jiu-Jitsu but he also has knockout power on his feet. Wherever this fight takes place Oliveira will be more than comfortable for whatever Chandler looks to throw at him.

On the other hand Michael Chandler is also a veteran in MMA but not in the UFC. He has been fighting and dominating the lightweight division in Bellator since 2013 and has always flirted with transitioning to the UFC his whole career. After being crowned the Bellator Lightweight Champ and accomplishing everything he could in Bellator, Chandler finally decided to make the move and see how he would fare in the UFC. Dana White did not waste anytime throwing Chandler to the wolves of the Lightweight division pairing him against a proven fighter in Dan Hooker. Michael made one of the most memorable debut's in UFC history knocking out Dan Hooker in the first round with a powerful left hook that sent "the Hangman" flying to the canvas. After making an undeniable statement in the Lightweight division Chandler has now found himself on the cusp on UFC greatness only two fights into his UFC career.

With all this being said I truly to believe either fighter is capable of walking out victorious on Saturday night. If I had to choose between the two I am leaning toward Oliveira solely based on his proven lengthy UFC career. I believe Charles will end up submitting Chandler and finally will receive the recognition he deserves.
Oliveira -130
TO GO THE DISTANCE:
Yes +240
No -345 With odds this heavy this is once again a line to avoid. With two fighter's who stylistically can provide fantastic finishes at any moment of any fight they are a part of this fight will not need judges scorecards. Instead of laying any money on this bet the smart bet for this fight is under the props section. "Under 2.5 rounds -130". This will be the line that I will be laying my money down on for this fight. With almost thirteen full minutes to work with, one of these fighters will find a finish! Under 2.5 Rounds -130
